Wallingford Girl Passes
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jackson is Called – Ill for Several Weeks

Wallingford – Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian church in Estherville for Marjorie Jackson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jackson, who passed away Wednesday night after a long illness. The Rev. Claude Fausnaugh presided at the services at the home at 1 o’clock and at the church one hour later. Interment was in the family lot at Oakhill cemetery.

The child, who would have been eight years old on April 14, has been seriously ill for some time as she suffered from leukemia, a form of pernicious anemia. During her illness she received medical treatment in the Coleman hospital and at the Mayo hospital in Rochester, Minn.

She is survived by her parents, one brother, Bernard of Estherville, and two sisters, Ruby Celeste and Florence Jean, who are at home. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, March 23, 1937)
