Baby Son of Farm Couple Drowned in Stock Tank
Ronald William Ingvall, 18 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ingvall, of east of Superior, was accidentally drowned shortly after noon Tuesday when he fell into a stock watering tank at his parents farm home.

At the time the accident occurred the child’s mother was in the house preparing dinner. She missed the baby and the father went to look for him. He found the child in the tank about 12:45 p.m. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, May 28, 1942)

Tot Drowns in Stock Tank
Estherville, IA – While his mother was preparing dinner Tuesday noon, the one-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ingvall wandered into the farmyard and drowned in a stock watering tank.

The parents rushed the child, Ronald William, to Estherville where resuscitation efforts were made. Dr. J P. Clark said the child had been in the water about 30 minutes.

Surviving besides the parents are a brother and two sisters.

The Ingvalls are former residents of near Terril. (Terril Record, Terril, IA, May 28, 1942)
