Rites To Be Thursday for Mrs. Rohde

Funeral services for Mrs. H.N. (Mathilda) Rohde, 88, will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at the family home, W. 519 N. 2nd St.

She was born on Sept. 29, 1868 in Germany and came to this country with her parents. She was married to H.N. Rohde on Nov. 13, 1892, and the couple made their home here since that time, her husband having been one of the first settlers in this community. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters. The sons are Arthur and Herman, both of Estherville. Miss Berolina Rohde, who is living at the family home, and Mrs. Valentine (Hulda) Rutkowski of Chicago are the daughters. Mrs. Rohde was preceded in death by her husband and one son.

The Rev. William P. Henline will officiate at the services and burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Rohde home from 9 a.m. tomorrow until time of services.
