John Eshouse, 79, of Wallingford, retired railroad man, died early yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. H. DeWall. He is a former resident of Estherville but has been living in Wallingford for the past ten years.
Last rites will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the home and at 2 at the Methodist Episcopal church. Burial will be in Oakhill cemetery. The Rev. F. W. Ortmeyer will officiate at the services. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, December 3, 1935)
John Eshouse, 79, a resident of Emmet County for the past ten years, died early Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. H. DeWall.
Mr. Eshouse was born in Holland. He retired from the C.R.I. & P. railroad in 1931. He is survived by his widow.
Funeral services were held today at one o’clock at the home and at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Episcopal Church in this city with the Rev. F. W. Ortmeyer officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, December 4, 1935)
