Mrs. Dillon became a member of the Christian church while yet a girl, and has ever been true to the cause of Christianity, and was always ready and willing to assist all with whom she came in contact and was a kind and loving wife and dutiful mother.

While the deceased had no large circle of acquaintances here, having moved to this city from Champaign county, Illinois, with her husband and family about four years ago, those who knew her know of her loving disposition and manner. While she has been a great sufferer for several years she has been uncomplaining and cheerful through it all. Thus a useful life has been taken from among us, but only to take up that more beautiful and perfect life in the great beyond. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, May 9, 1906)
