Mrs. Amos Boyster Died Here Late Thurs. Afternoon
Mrs. Amos Boyster of this city died at her home here late Thursday [April 16, 1936] afternoon. She has been ill for several weeks. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 o’clock from the Methodist Church in this city, the Rev. F. W. Ortmeyer officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.

Minnie Hill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hill, was born in Richwood, Mo., November 14, 1884. She lived with her parents until her marriage in Nov. 29, 1910 to Mr. Amos Boyster at St. Louis, Mo. The couple made their home in Richwood, Mo., until 1917 when they went to Pana, Ill. In 1928 they moved to Estherville.

She is survived by her son; a daughter, Algeta; a son, Orville; two sisters, Mrs. Ione Pillons of St. Claire and Mrs. Walter Godat of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Charles Hill of Illinois.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church in Estherville and also the Service Star Legion. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, April 22, 1936)
