Estherville – Funeral services for Marian Virginia Bixby, 64, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry DeGraaff officiating and burial at the Oak Hill Cemetery. She died July 3 in Pasadena, Calif.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, after noon Wednesday.

Miss Bixby was born September 1911 to Mr. and Mrs. John Bixby in Estherville and graduated from Estherville High School in 1930. She graduated from the University of Minnesota school of nursing and worked as a nurse in Minneapolis, Sterling, Colo., and had lived the past five years in Pasadena. She retired in November, 1975.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. David (Barbara) Seibel, Chicago, Ill.; and Mrs. John (Betty) Bissell, Minneapolis; and one brother, Ken Bixby, Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 6, 1976)
