The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Warner, now of Sandstone, Minn., were very sorry to hear of the death of their infant son, Roscoe. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, March 13, 1918)

Word has been received of the death of Roscoe David Warner, son of Joseph and Grace Warner, at Sandstone, Minn. He was a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Bombarger of Huntington. Remains will arrive here today and burial will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, March 6, 1918)
