Mrs. Wm. Marley died at her home north of town Monday afternoon of complications of diseases. Funeral services were held Wednesday forenoon from the residence, Rev. Brown officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Oak Hill cemetery. (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, January 12, 1899)
