ESTHERVILLE - Services for Beth Stavros, 97, of Estherville, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patricks Church with Father Tom Nash, presider. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She died Monday, Nov. 6, 1995 at Holy Family Hospital.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with Legion of Mary Rosary at 4 p.m. and Parish Vigil service at 7 p.m. at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home.

She was born Dec. 24, 1897 at Shelby, Mich., the daughter of Henry and Josephine (Bender) Long, and received her education in Estherville Schools graduating from High School in 1915. On April 28, 1926 she married Emmanuel Stavros in Estherville. She was employed prior to her marriage as Chief Telephone Operator in Estherville. Following her marriage the couple lived in Estherville where she assisted her husband in the shoe repair business.

She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America and the Legion of Mary.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Kiefer of Des Moines, a son, Dr. George Stavros of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Dr. Mark Stavros of Ohio; Mrs. Andy (Michelle) Lewis, San Diego; Laurissa, Nicholas, Kristina, and Michael Stavros all of Phoenix; six great-grandchildren.
