Mrs. Ella Davidson Dies At Mason City

Mrs. Ella Davidson, who lived nearly all of her 87 years here in Estherville, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fern Brown at Mason City, at 9:10 p.m. yesterday [March 2, 1954].

She had gone to live with her daughter before Thanksgiving and was hospitalized there for a time.

Her maiden name was Ella Coon and the Coon addition of Estherville is named after her father, the late H. C. Coon.

Surviving her death are her daughter, Mrs. Fern Brown; a son, Harold Fox of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. E.. I. Sondrol of Estherville; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Charles Coon of Estherville.

Funeral arrangements have not been set as yet. Her body is being returned here to the Sternberg Funeral home this afternoon.
