Died – Theodore Lucas died December 25th at Ely, Minnesota, at the age of 44 years. His remains were brought home for burial and the funeral took place last Sunday. Rev. Brown conducted the services. Deceased was a son of Mrs. Ann Lucas and lived for many years in Emmet county and had many warm friends in Estherville and enjoyed the confidence and good opinion of all who knew him. Henry Theodore Lucas died at Ely, Minn., at 10 o’clock Christmas morning. The remains were brought to this city for interment. The funeral occurred at the Baptist church at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. The deceased was 43 years of age and unmarried. (The Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, January 2, 1896)
