Dr. Kinyon of Rock Island, Ill., and Dr. Stair of Spirit Lake were called to consult with Dr. Salisbury, Tuesday, in regard to Dr. S’s little boy who is very low with difficulty of the brain and lungs, following his severe attack of dysentery. His recovery is very doubtful. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, April 2, 1891)

Dr. and Mrs. Salisbury feel very grateful for the many kind and thoughtful deeds done for them by many warm hearted friends during the sickness and death of their baby boy. In their double affliction that is almost heart crushing, these kind acts are remembered, never to be forgotten. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, April 9, 1891)
