Monday afternoon the oldest child of Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Salisbury, of Estherville, died. It seems that the little girl about 3 years old, on Sunday swallowed a copper cent and on Monday morning was taken with convulsions and died. Every effort and every remedy was used to relieve her sufferings, but all to no avail Mr. and Mrs. Salisbury have the sympathy of the whole community in their affliction. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Robinson, of Rock Island, were present at the sad funeral of little Hazel Salisbury last week. Mr. Robinson is a banker and a cousin of Mrs. Salisbury. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, March 19, 1891)
