Death of Baby Girl of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Amdahl
Selma Randora, baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Amdahl, residing on South Seventh street, died Thursday morning, November 6, at 8:10 o’clock, after two days’ illness. The baby was born June 21, 1917, and was two years, four months and sixteen days old.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. A. Berge from the Norwegian Lutheran church Saturday afternoon, November 8, at 2 o’clock. The remains were laid to rest in the East Side cemetery beside a little sister and brother who preceded her to the Great Beyond.

Selma Randora was a sweet, interesting baby, being just able to talk quite plainly. A little ray of sunshine has gone from the home and left it sad and desolate. Her loss is keenly felt by father, mother, four sisters, and four brothers who mourn her and [unreadable lines finish.] (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, November 12, 1919)
