Death of Their Little Girl
On Monday morning at a little past two o’clock, death visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Amdahl, of this city and took from it their little daughter, Elizabeth, aged three years who since Tuesday of last week was ill with pneumonia. The funeral will be held today from the home, the services to be conducted by Rev. Thompson and the burial will be in the East Side cemetery. Elizabeth Marie was one of a pair of twins, boy and girl. The brother died November 28, 1904 (?) and now the little lady, who twinned him at birth, has followed her brother to a better land. To the parents in their deep grief, public condolence is extended, may they and their little ones be comforted in the assurance given us “suffer the little children to come unto Me.” (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, November 15, 1905)
