Illness Fatal to A. A. Crim
Funeral Will Be Held Friday
A.A. Crim, 75, died at 10:30 last night at his home on north Sixth street after a four-days’ illness with flu and complications.

Mr. Crim was born Oct. 25, 1860, near Mineralridge in Boone county. He came to Emmet county in the spring of 1883 and has made his home here since.

He is survived by four children: Mrs. George Robb, Willard Crim, Lloyd Crim, all of Estherville, and Mrs. Clem

Lulkart [Luikart] of Minneapolis; one brother, Beldon of Stratford, Iowa, and four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Richardson, Mrs. Dora Mathre of Ames, Mrs. Sophia Faubion of Grand City, Mo., and Mrs. Carrie Condon of Donhook, N.D.

Funeral services will be held Friday at the Crim home with the Rev. F. W. Ortmeyer in chare. Members of the Odd Fellows lodge, of which he was a Past Noble Grand, will have charge of the services at the Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 7, 1934)

A.A. Crim of City Added to Departed List
A.A. Crim, another of Emmet county’s highly respected pioneers passed away last night at his home on North Sixth Street after a brief illness. While Mr. Crim has not been in the best of health for sometime, he was not in a serious condition until he became afflicted with the flu about a week ago.

His condition was such that he could not withstand the severe attack of cold and flu. He has had some heart trouble for sometime past.

Mr. Crim was born in Boone County on October 25, 1860. He resided thre until 1883 when he moved to this county. He farmed here until fourteen years ago when he moved into the city to spend his retiring years.

Mr. Crim has been a very active member in the I.O.O.F. lodge and has held all the offices, retiring as Past Worthy Grand. The funeral will be held at the home on North Sixth Street on Friday afternoon at two o’clock, the Rev. Ortmeyer officiating. The remains will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Odd Fellows will have charge of the services at the cemetery.

The deceased is survived by two sons, Willard and Lloyd, and two daughters, Mrs. Geo. Robb, of this city, and Mrs. Clem Lulkart [Luikart], of Minneapolis, and a brother and a sister. He was a brother of Atty. C. W. Crim, deceased, who was for years a leading attorney of this city. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, February 7, 1934)

Mr. Crim was born October 5, 1858 in Boone county and came to Emmet county during the year of 1883 and has made his home here continuously since that time. He is survived by his wife and four children, Willard, Lloyd, and Mrs. Geo. Robb of this city and Mrs. Clem Lulkart [Luikart] of Minneapolis. One brother, Beldon of Stratford and four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Richardson, Mrs. Dora Mathre of Ames, Mrs. Sophia Faubion of Grand City, Mo., and Mrs. Carrie Condon of Donhook, N.D.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at the home at 2 o’clock in charge of Rev. F. W. Ortmeyer of the M.E. church. Interment will be at Oak Hill cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 8, 1934)
