BODY OF FORMER ARMSTRONG LADY IS BURIED THERE

Mrs. Cornelius Canon, of Bowersville, Minn., who passed away at the hospital at Hewitt, Minn., Tuesday was brought here Saturday for burial in the Armstrong cemetery. Two of her children are buried here. She was a sister-in-law of G.W. Canon, whose funeral was held here Tuesday of last week. Rev. and Mrs. Canon resided here 23 years ago and will be remembered by the oldest citizens. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon. Her husband, Rev. C. V. Canon of Bowersville, and sons Meyvan V. of Hampton, Neb., Clarence H., of Winnebago, Minn., and Leslie A. of Bowersville and daughter Mrs. Walter Gunn of Hewitt, Minn., and Miss Lela Lovell of Winnebago, attended the funeral. They remained a few days with relative here a few days before returning to their home.
