Death of Little Rose Bagan
Rose Bagan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Bagan residing on south Eighth street, died Sunday evening at 11:40, after a brief illness of paralysis of the bowels. She had been sick only a few days and her condition was not thought to be serious until late Sunday afternoon, although she had been under the doctor's care for several days. Little Rose was four and one-half years of age at time of her death, a sweet and lovable child. She will not only be missed by the bereaved family but by her every day playmates with whom she was a great favorite. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church at 9:30 this morning. Rev. J. P. Conway preaching the funeral sermon and the remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery. The many friends of the Bagan family in Estherville extend their deepest sympathy to the Bagan family in their hours of profound sorrow. Relatives from away who were here to attend the funeral were: George Ray and two sisters, of Jasper; Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bagan and Mrs. Thomas Bagan, of Albert Lea; Frank Bagan, of Chester, Iowa; Patrick Bagan, of Waterloo, and David Bagan, of Fort Dodge.
