DEATH CALLED HIM

Charles Sunde of Ellsworth Township, Died Monday Morning.

CAUSE WAS A TUMOR ON THE BRAIN

Lived in County Since 1887--Lived on His Own Farm Near Huntington at Time of His Demise

Chas. Sunde, of Ellsworth township, died at the home of his brother, Thomas Sunde Monday morning of tumor on the brain: He had been ill since March. Funeral service was held from the Thomas Sunde home yesterday, about noon and from the Palestine church near Dolliver yesterday at 11 o'clock. Burial was made in the Palestine cemetery.

Charted Sunde was born in Norway, June 21, 1863. Came to Emmet county in 1887 and has lived with his brother and farmed with him most of the time since then. About four years ago Mr. Sunde moved on to his own farm east of Huntington. There he lived until he was taken sick. Since then he has been at the home of his brother Thomas. He was never married. His parents are both dead. Besides one sister, who lives in Norway, he leaves two brothers, Thomas and Henry, who live here, to mourn his death.

The deceased was a conscientious, hard working citizen. He was respected by all his neighbors and friends, and everyone extends sympathy to the brothers and sister in sorrow.
