Longtime Resident of Wallingford Dies at 88

Mrs. John (Laura J.) Morrice, 88, resident of Wallingford for the past 80 years, died at 7:45 last night at her home there. She had been an invalid for several years but became seriously ill last Saturday. Born Dec. 7. 1869 at Rochester, Minn., she had resided In Wallingford since her marriage to Mr. Morrice who managed the elevator there before retirement. She was a member of the Presbyterian church in Estherville. Survivors are her husband, John; two sons, Dick of Waterloo and Ray of Milwaukee, Wise.; and one sister in California. Funeral services are pending arrival of distant relatives.
