ESTHERVILLE - Services for Mildred Stow, 87, of Estherville and formerly of Dolliver, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with the Rev. Larry Willey officiating. Interment will be at the Lincoln Township Cemetery at Dolliver. She died Sunday, November 20 [1994] at the Good Samaritan in Estherville. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She was born September 2, 1907, on the family farm near Van Horne, [Benton County, Iowa.] She graduated from Coe College in 1929 with a teaching certificate. She married Gerald C. Stow on July 6, 1938 at Kirksville, Mo. She taught at Dolliver and Gruver schools for 32 years.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Leona Stow of Estherville; Nina Smith of Vinton; four nieces, Marcia Huntsinger and Mona Strenge of Estherville; Luann Basart of Ames, Jane Abbot of Marshall, Minn. and nephew, Perry Stow of Mankato, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and her parents.
