RINGSTED MAN'S SERVICES HELD TODAY IN ESTHERVILLE

ESTHERVILLE--Niels Martin Petersen, 92 died Feb. 8 In Good Samaritan Center, Estherville.

Mr. Petersen was born September 15, 1882 at Ringsted, Denmark, to Lars M. and Anna Marie Petersen. He was educated in Denmark, coming to the United States at the age of 19. On Feb. 20. 1917. he was married to Johanne Simonsen In Ringsted. They farmed at Halfa until 1945. In 1950 they came to Estherville and, since March, 1973, he had lived in Good Samaritan Center because of ill health.

Mr. Petersen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Estherville, and the Danish Brotherhood, Ringsted.

He is survived by his wife. Johanne; one brother. George Petersen, Hancock, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. Marie Berven, Estherville. He was preceded In death by his parents and three brothers.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today in Reese-Henry Chapel with the Rev. Paul Wiegman officiating. Burial was made in East Side Cemetery, Estherville. Reese-Henry Funeral Home, Esthervllle, was in charge of arrangements.
