George Peak Dead

George Peak of Swan Lake township died at the City Hospital last Sunday, [July 12, 1908]. Funeral was held in Gruver M. E. church yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. B. S. Greene of Dolliver and interment made in Swan Lake cemetery.

George Peak was born in Grant county, Wisconsin, July 14, 1842. He moved to Iowa in 1866 and came to Emmet county in 1891. Mr. Peak lived on the south side of Swan Lake until one year ago, since then he has lived with his children. He is survived by his wife and three sons. Mr. Peak had a large number of friends who will regret to hear of his death.
