Funeral Held Tuesday For Mrs. Ted Oleson
Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Ted (Olga) Oleson, 78, longtime resident of this area, at St. Paul's Lutheran church. The Rev. H. Irving Petersen officiated. Burial was at St. Paul's cemetery. Pallbearers were Matt Conway, Albert Richard, Howard Beaver, Jens Rasmussen, Castor Rasmussen and Otto Larson, all of Wallingford.
Mrs. Oleson died last Wednesday evening, just a few hours after becoming suddenly ill at her home northeast of Wallingford Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Oleson was observing her 78th birthday, with guests at her home when she became ill and was rushed to Holy Family hospital.
Survivors include one son, Cecil Halstein, of Van Nuys, Calif., a sister, Jessie Donahue, of Tyler, Minn., and a sister and brother in Sweden. She was preceded in death by her husband.
She was born Aug. 27, 1889, in Sweden. On Dec. 21, 1938 she married Ted Oleson at Graettinger. The couple farmed northeast of Wallingford.
