DIES FOLLOWING HEART ATTACK
Founder of Local Business

Paul G. Gray, 60-year-old Estherville businessman and founder of Gray's Produce company, died suddenly at his home last night at 11:55 (May 12, 1943) as the result of a heart attack.

Mr. Gray had lived in Estherville 24 years, opening a plant here the year before he moved here. He was in the produce business.

Born Oct. 6, 1882, at Holden in Johnson county, Mo., he was the son of Marion L. Gray and Georgia G. Gray. He spent his boyhood in Holden and attended the Public schools and St. Cecilias's seminary there. He was married June 25, 1907 to Nadine Nelson Roberts in Kansas City, Mo.

Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Brown Appleton of Warren, Ark., and a son, Paul G. Gray of Estherville and four grandchildren. A brother, Dr. M. L. Gray, lives in Holden, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at the house, 617 N. 7th St.. at 3 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. J. M. Kennedy. Burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery.
