Estherville--Services for Mrs. Anna Olena Fagre, 88, Estherville, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church here with the Rev. Stephen Wold officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Fagre died Monday at Holy Family Hospital.
Friends may call at Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Estherville, until noon Wednesday, when the body will be taken to the church.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mons Bjorvik, Mrs. Fagre was born July 14, 1889, in Norway. She received her education in Norway and came to the United States in 1908, moving to be Chicago, Ill., area. She was married to Oscar Fagre June 28, 1913, in Chicago, and lived in the Minneapolis, Minn., area before moving to Estherville in 1919. She lived in Estherville for the remainder of her life and was a resident of the Good Samaritan Center since May.
Mrs. Fagre was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Eastern Star, Past Matron, White Shrine, and charter member of the Beauceant.
She is survived by three sons, Stanley Fagre, Estherville, Roland Fagre, Boulder Colorado, and Kenneth Fagre, Estherville; 15 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marie Lund, in Norway; four brothers, Johan Bjorvik, Chicago, Illinois, Bernard Bjorvik, Detroit, Michigan, Marcus Bjorvik, Brooklyn New York, and Christian Bjorvik, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1967, one daughter, one sister, and two brothers.
