19th century jewelers in dubuque

My father passed away recently, and my mother found a pocket watch in his dresser drawer. She gave it to me, and I tried to find it’s age. The watch has “w.w. Wormwood” inscribed on the face and engraved inside. I looked back in the Dubuque census and found the name, and the fact that he was a jeweler in Dubuque in the mid 1800s. Any assistance as to where I can research this further would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help you may give me. Sincerely, Craig T. Ryan
