Thank you Sean for the information. Where is Bridge Quarter located. I can not find on my map. other letter may refer to Thomas Savage's widow Sarah Larkin Savage Rooney. Thomas died 1846 and she imediately immigrated 1847 with 6 chidren. Cannot establish relationship.
Sarah and Thomas's children Alice m. Bernard Taken (grson Father Taken).John Savage of Boone Ia. Thomas Savage, Mary, Jennie, Sarah. Survivors 1905 list Lizzie Rooney, Mrs. Martin Lonegran of Dubuque, Mrs. Patrick Kenley of Coggon and SisterMary Pauline BVM and John Savage, Boone. Do any of above's descendents know of relation to John and Mary McCartan Savage?
