In the "Mahoney Family Tree" on Ancestry.com list a John Edwin Carroll married to Mary Mahoney. It reports that they were married in April, 1910 in Roswell, New Mexico.(I believe that you were the source for this information) I would appreciate it if you could let me know where or how you obtained this information. I am helping a friend whose mother was Mary Cecilia Carroll (a daughter of John and Mary). He had heard stories that his grandmother was married in Roswell but never knew if this was true. John Edwin Carroll lived all his life in and around Dubuque, Iowa and it has always been a mystery why John and Mary Mahoney wound of getting married in New Mexico since it was so far away from Iowa. Do you know anything about how they came to be married in New Mexico?

Also, if there is someone else who may be able to help with this question I would appreciate it if you could let me know how to contact them.
