On the Gibbs name - I show the following obits: Dubuque Herald Oct 14, 1860 - ______ Gibbs, infant son of L.N. & M.P. Gibbs, age 17 months.

Dubuque Daily Times, Oct. 8, 1870 - Mr. M.L. Gibbs - age 53. Funeral from the residence on Clay Street.

(Bear in mind please that some of these papers are very hard to read. On the initials - I have done the best that I could to write down what is there.)

From the St John's Episcopal Church Records 1847-1868 - Josiah H, 21, married Catherine E. Woodard, 19, on July 14, 1867 (p227)

Don't know if any of these are yours but thought I would post for you to determine.
