Need information about the raising of the 6th & 8th(?) Iowa Volunteer Infantry in Dubuque. Trying to trace Brickell family in Dubuque area. One of my g-grandfather's brothers (John Brickell) enlisted in Dubuque and was captured at Shiloh.
