VanWinkle in Dubuque Need Help!

I need some sort of direction on locating info on Amanda and William Van Winkle. Amanda died in Dubuque Sept, 1877 however, I find nothing on this family. I found them in Jones Co., up to 1860 but was directed to try searching in Dubuque Co., Amanda had son's Hezekiah and David, and a daughter Eda who was with her at time of death. Obit states that David and Hezekiah reside near Eddyville. Where is this place. I have also searched the entire 1870 U.S and find nothing.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
