My g-g-grandmother, Catherine O'Connor, came from Ireland (County Kerry?) with her parents (father: Michael mother: Margaret) and brother James O'Connor. She was employed as a housekeeper in a priest's rectory in Dubuque. She married Thomas Hanely in Garry Owen, Iowa in 1854. Priest's name was Father Treacey. I'd like to find out more about the family years in Dubuque if anyone can help provide any information. Thanks.
