I am seeking information on my 2nd g-gma, Christine Bergmeyer, b. about 1864 in Dubuque. We believe her mother's maiden name may be Nagy, but not sure. She married Johann (John) Gottlieb Widmann sometime before 1890. They had 3 children, Madgalen (1890), Henrietta (1892), and John Lewis (1898), all born in Dubuque. Johann was a conductor on the Milwaukee railroad and the family moved to eastern Montana (Miles City eventually, where Christine died in 1936 after being hit by a train). It's thought that Christine's parents emigrated from either Switzerland or Austria (or one from each). Anyone working on these names? Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
