Naturalization papers

NAGEL

I found a listing for my gggrandfather, John Baptist Nagel, applying for his naturalization papers in 1854. The name is listed as John Bapt. Nagel, age 34. Page 33. The age fits and I think this is the right man but he ended up homesteading in Shakopee, Minnesota....maybe he just applied for citizenship while I passed through Dubuque. I would appreciate someone looking at the original document to get any relevant details. Date, country of origin, day of arrival, etc. Also, I have an oral history that his father also came to America in 1854. His name was Joseph, born in Austria in 1798. I cannot find this man on any Minnesota census. Perhaps you could do a quick check for that name as well. Thank you very much for any assistance
