Finding family

I am trying to find relatives. My grandfather was supposedly born in Dubuque in 1887 his name was John Frederick Krueger and he married my grandmother Rose Tschol in Dubuque. I have some information on his mother Sophia Krueger, Dudensky, Weinhappel, I have none on his father who is supposed to be John Krueger. I have heard that my grandfather may have been adopted. Most of the Tschols stayed in the Dubuque area. I know that Teresa Tschol married my grandfather's brother either william or herman. My mother, Marguerite Krueger was born in Dubuque but died when I was young. I would like to know more about the families.
