My great great grandparents, Peter and Catharina Kapp and 4 childrn were killed in the 1876 Rockdale flood. 3 sons survived. The youngest, Joseph was 5 at the time and was put in St Mary's German Orphanage asylum. Supposedly he was listed as Joseph Kalp and died at the orphanage in 1880 from being kicked int he head by a horse. Would love any information possible.
