On 26 April, the Quad Cities will salute their long forgotten heroes, the veterans of the Korean War. A parade and special ceremony will be held in Davenport, Iowa that day starting at 10 a.m. Part of the ceremony will include the presentation the Republic of Korea Korean War Service Medal and Certificate of Appreciation to the next of kin/families of the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines that made the ultimate sacrifice during the war. However, in order to accomplish that we need to locate the next of kin/family of Private First Class William E. Stangl. William was Killed in Action on 16 November 1951. If anyone knows William Stangl's family, please notify Richard Worthy at reworthy@aol.com as soon as possible.
