Daacke (Dubuque) 1850-1859

August G. Daacke and family lived in the Dubuque area for most of the period 1850-1859 then moved to Cassville, Wis. Anyleads about their time in Iowa would be much appreciated. August was a blacksmith who arrived from Germany in 1848 with his first wife Mary and son Henry. Mary died in abt 1850. He and Doris were married July 2, 1853. Two sons Christian and Augustus were born in Iowa.
