Carol,
My husband's 2 gr grandfather was Jacob Engler, b. abt 1831 in Germany; d 1915 in Dubuque; mrd Maria/Mary Hirsh, b. abt 1834 in Penn; d. 1924 in Dubuque. They had 11 children: Paul, Peter, Mary, Anna, Elizabeth, Frances, John, Margaret, George, Josephine and Andrew. I have quite a bit of info on the family if you would like to contact me. I would like to fill in some of the blanks if you have any info would love to correspond.
