JACOB/JACOBUS GANZER APPEARS ON THE 1880 CENSUS in Iowa twp, Dubuque, Iowa.
Born in Mettendorf Germany 20 June 1820.
He is on no other IA census records.

Wife, Maria born abt. 1838 in Ger. Children, Susan, Maggie, Peter, Bernard, Michael, John, Nick.

Possibly a brother of SIMON GANSER (born in Mettendorf) of North Fork Delaware Ia...1823-1890.
