Ella Minium

My grandmother's sister, Ella Phelps Minium, lived at 278 Julien Ave. in 1920, along with her husband Ervin, and son Howard, born in 1915. In 1930, Howard appears in Coffins Grove, Delaware Co., IA census as the 15 year old ward of Martin and Virginia Dittmer. It appears mavbe he was orphaned. I can't find his parents on any 1930 census. Can some one check to see if his parents, Ella and Ervin Minium, died in Dubuque between 1920 and 1930? There seems to be no record of what happened to them. Howard lived until 1980.
