DIED

GUILBERT – In this city at the family residence 1222 Locust Street, 5:35 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 1900. Edward A. Guilbert, aged 72 years. Funeral Wednesday 2 p.m. from Masonic Temple, corner Tenth and Main Streets. The body will lie in state Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Masonic Temple, where all friends my review remains.

The services at the temple will be in charge of the Masons of the Grand Lodge of Iowa. All friend of the family are invited to attend. The interment in Linwood Cemetery.

DR. GUILBERTS FUNERAL

The funeral of the late Dr. Guilbert will be held today at 2 o’clock. The remains will be taken from the late residence at 10 o’clock and conveyed to the Masonic Temple where they will lie in state. Several of the Masonic notables of the state will attend the funeral.

Among those who are expected are Deputy Grand Secretary Parvin of Cedar Rapids, Most Worshipful Master Thos. Lambert of Sabula, Deputy Grand Warden Randall of Mason City, and Senior Grand Warden of Sibley, Iowa.

A number of Knights Templars will accompany the cortege from the residence to the Masonic Temple. At the grave a volley will be fired and taps sounded by a squad of the G. A. R.
