Carl P. Flanagan, 57, a resident of the Central Hotel, 1006 Central Ave., died Wednesday afternoon at Mercy Hospital.

Friends may call at the Didesch Funeral Home from where services will be held Friday morning to St. Patrick’s Church with Mass at 10 o’clock. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mr. Flanagan was born May 26, 1899, in Dubuque. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and was a graduate of Cathedral Parochial School and attended St. Josephs College (now Loras).

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. John A. (Catharine) Flanagan, Dubuque; three sisters, Mrs. John J. (Mildred) Sheridan, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Joseph J. (Katherine) Koester, Dubuque, and Mrs. R. S. (Marion) Carroll, Clinton, Ia; a brother, John J. Flanagan, Waterloo, Ia., and a son.
