MRS P.J.CONNOLLY CALLED BY DEATH.

Mrs P.J. Connolly died at the residence in Prairie Creek township yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock after an illness of a short duration.
She was born in Ireland, eighty -three years ago and had resided in Prairie Creek township for three scores of years. She is survived by six sons, John, Joseph, Thomas and Robert, all of Prairie Creek township, Edward of Dubuque and P.J. Connolly, of Lincoln, Nebraska, and two daughters, Sister Mary Edmunda, of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Mrs Charles Herzog of Dubuque county. The late M.J. Connolly of this city was also her son.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from the home to the Holy Family Church at the Monastery at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
