Fidelis A. Donohoo 1917-2005

Fidelis A. "Don" Donohoo, 88, of Amherst, Ohio, formerly of Santa Monica, Calif., Dubuque, and Cuba City, Wis., died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, at home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cuba City, with the Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque, where military rites will be accorded. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The Haudenshield Funeral Home, Cuba City, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on April 28, 1917, in Cuba City, son of Dillon and Mary (McKenna) Donohoo.

He graduated from the University of Southern California with a master's degree in business administration.

He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.

Mr. Donohoo was a California representative for Caradco, Inc., of Dubuque. He later became sales manager of the Peoria Division. He followed this by becoming a market analyst for Caradco. His final career was as a stockbroker for Crowell Weedon & Co., Los Angeles.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mary (Carl) Wilms; two brothers, Dr. Stanley Donohoo, of Milwaukee, and Donald (Jean) Donohoo, of Cuba City; numerous nieces and nephews; three stepgrandchildren, Kimberly Wilms, Kelly Wilms and Tim Debronsky; and a stepgreat-grandson, Tim Debronsky.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette Nicks Donohoo; his first wife, Marguerite Dennler Donohoo; two brothers, Sam and Adrian; and a sister, Mary Gallagher.
