Mrs. Mary Kenna died Sunday morning at five o'clock at the home of her son, Martin Kenna, on the Millville road.
Mrs. Kenna was born December 25, 1842, in Ireland. When a young woman she came to this country, and settled in Dubuque, where she has lived, in the city and county for fifty years. Seven weeks ago she suffered a paralytic stroke, which resulted in her death on Sunday. The deceased was a devout Catholic, and died fortifie(d) by the last rites of that church. She is survive(d) by one son, Martin, and Mrs. John Drenck, both of this county.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at nine o'clock from the residence of her son to St. Anthony's church, burial to be made in Mount Olivet.
