GEORGE HEIN DEAD.
Venerable Resident Passed Away at 4 O'clock Wednesday Afternoon--Funeral on Friday.
George Hein died at his home, 732 West Fifth street, at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, aged 71 years. Mr. Hein was born in Bavaria, Germany, and came to Dubuque in 1854, where he has since lived. He leaves four children, three sons and one daughter, William, George and Edward, and Emma. His wife died some years ago. Mr. Hein belonged to Schiller Lodge, Humboldt Encampment, Hyde Clark Post, C.A.F., and The German Benevolent society. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock to Linwood cemetery, Gregoire Bros. will conduct the funeral.
