Arthur A Hector died at Mercy hospital Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock after illness of nine days duration.
He was born in Lansing, Iowa, April 30, forty-nine years ago. Dubuque had been his home for the last 16 years. He leaves his widow, three daughters, his mother, Mrs. Andrew Hector, of St. Paul, Minn., two sisters, Mrs. Ella Carlson of Lansing, Iowa, and Mrs. Ada Gustafson of Minneapolis, and two brothers, David and Herman of St. Paul.
Mr. Hector was a member of St. Columbkille's church and of the Brotherhood of American Yeomen.
The funeral will be held Friday morning from the family home, 81, North Algona street to St. Columbkille's church at 9:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary.
